Our friends at CD Projekt, who are the developers of The Witcher and the distributor of the Polish box version of Mysteries of Westgate in Poland, sent us some great reviews for MoW from some of the Polish sites there.

Gram.pl (Poland) - 92%
"Great atmosphere and story, soundtrack, and many different quests! It is a shame that this game is only an add-on."

Battlenet Network (Poland) - 85%
"Mysteries of Westgate is one of the most interesting add-ons to Neverwinter Nights. Every fan of the series should have this in their collection!"

Onet.pl Gry (Poland) - 85%
"Generally Mysteries of Westgate is a very solid add-on to NWN2 with a great storyline and unforgettable atmosphere."

MiastoGier.pl (Poland) - 77%
"Mysteries of Westgate is not as extended as other add-ons to Neverwinter Nights 2 but brings players a great story and atmosphere of a real RPG game."

GRY Online (Poland) - 77%
"As an add-on, Mysteries of Westgate is great. The most important part of this game is the story, which is very addictive!"

GameStar Hungary MoW Review
Sunday, 24 May 2009 14:41

GameStar Magazine Hungary has run a 2-page review of Mysteries of Westgate in their May issue, giving the game 83%! Here is a compilation of some of the great things they said:

"The story of Mysteries of Westgate would do honor to a full expansion pack, and that’s a creditable achievement of the developers. The sidequests aren’t simple errand missions like, "Get me three rat tails!" Most of them are really funny; they give us the opportunity to laugh, to be amazed, and to use our brains. The voiceovers are of high quality. It’s a pity that being a small independent team, the developers could only afford recording voiceover for the most important cutscenes. The well-written script and the entertaining quests make up for the shortcomings, hence the fans of the series are going to welcome the first Adventure Pack with a smile on their faces. I sincerely hope that the first one is not the last one."
